I know I have been absent lately - how bad of me - but I promise that I have been working really hard on book three of my Pride and Prejudice series.
Well, it's Friday night and I'm still slaving away. This book is going to be the longest of all. So far it has exceeded the length of Rosings and it is set to bypass Charlotte too.
This is all good, I assure you!
This book, as you can tell by the WIP-progress bar on the right, is called Wickham. Oh yes! It's about one of our favourite and most delicious of Jane Austen villains. ;-) So far it's such fun to write and he is off to fight in the Napoleonic wars... yes, how can I avoid that? He is a soldier after all ;-)
What scrapes will he get himself into, I wonder? And can I salvage his reputation? Ha ha I had to add that - it seems I have gotten a reputation for salvaging and redeeming the unsavoury characters in Jane Austen's books. However, I not entirely certain that I can do that with Wickham...I mean, he's just so much fun if he stays naughty! ;-)
I will, nevertheless, stick to my style and produce a book in-keeping with the rest of the series. The plot has lots of twists and turns and I'm really excited about it.
I hope this has whet your appetite for the next book in the series and rest assured that I am still writing away!
God bless you all,
