Work In Progress!

Today marks the first day of my new work in progress!

Due to popular demand I am starting a sequel to Charlotte - Pride & Prejudice Continues :-)

Yes ... a sequel!

However, this novel will focus not on the Collinses, but on Lady Catherine de Bourgh and her daughter Anne!

So many of you have emailed me, tweeted me and facebook-messaged me, and asked if I would work my own particular brand of magic on Her Ladyship.... well, I can resist no longer.  The muse is calling and Lady Catherine herself is inside my head, and loudly demanding to be heard! :-)

Watch this space - I will keep you updated and in the mean time you can still get the updated/revised version of Charlotte here in the US and here in the UK!

Happy reading!
:-)

Great New Review for RELATIVE DECEIT!

This morning I discovered a lovely new review for

RELATIVE DECEIT!

Take a look!

"I enjoy a good mystery and this book `Relative Deceit' is certainly good. It held my attention from beginning to end. I love Miss Marple and Downtown Abbey, so it's no surprise I enjoyed this too.
The story is based around an upper class family, the Bancroft's.
Sir George Bancroft, his wife and three children find themselves suddenly bankrupt. Their situation is desperate...enter their saviour, distant cousin Gregory Rogers. He seems to have all the answers to their problems. But is he all he appears to be?
I quickly found myself immersed in the life of each character, especially Jane, Sir George's young daughter, a vulnerable and sweet girl. This is a fast paced story, with plenty of murders, villainy and deceit. I worried for Jane's safety...the sign of a good book.
The story is cleverly crafted, and kept me guessing right up to the end, and what an ending. It was perfect!
I also love the title and cover of the book, it's what attracted me to get it, and I'm glad I did.
If you like an exciting mystery, then you'll love `Relative Deceit.' I hope there will be more books from this author and soon."

Weekly Update

Hello all!

I hope you've had a smashing week!

With temperatures soaring outside, I have been stuck in the cave working hard.

As you all know, the 2nd Edition of Charlotte is up and out for sale.  However, I have noticed that people are still reading the old, let-down, version.  So, please email Amazon and get your copy updated - I want you to read the best version! :o)

YOU WILL HAVE TO EMAIL KDP-SUPPORT@AMAZON.COM CONFIRMING YOUR PERMISSION AND WHICH TITLE/S YOU’D LIKE TO HAVE RE-SENT.

In other news; my WIP (Work in progress) is coming along nicely :o)  I am hoping for an October finish to that now.

This weekend sees our 7th Anniversary, and we are hopefully going to celebrate that with the usual dinner for two etc. ;o)

So, whatever you do this weekend, have a good one! xxx

This is important, especially for those who have downloaded CHARLOTTE...

KINDLE READERS - Has your favorite author revised their book?

Did you know that it will not automatically update on its own?

They request your explicit permission prior to sending revised files because the new version will not have previously saved Highlights, Last Page Read, Bookmarks, and the location of notes may not match.

You will have to email kdp-support@amazon.com confirming your permission and which title/s you’d like to have re-sent.

Charlotte has been updated - email the above address to be able to download the updated version!

Weekly Update

Hello all!

What a fabulous weekend it's been!  I am so proud of Team GB and all the medals they are winning.  I haven't managed to watch a lot of the Olympics because I am so busy, but what I have seen has been amazing.
I loved watching the women's marathon - the Kenyans showed such team spirit!  And Congrats to Ethiopia there for that Gold!
I watched the sailing and Ben Ainslie's fight for Gold actually made me cry! :-)

It's been a really busy week for me, as you may or may not have noticed the second edition of CHARLOTTE is now live and up for sale.
It was recently brought to my attention that there were errors in the original version - as you can imagine I was horrified.
I have a new proof reader who is doing a marvellous job for me and I am so happy to finally have those problems solved!

I wish to apologise for the poor quality of the 1st edition.

We also have updated the cover to show that it's a new edition.  (I changed the publication date to show the date of the 2nd edition - Amazon say it's updated - I cannot see it at all!)

Here is the updated cover - I hope you like it.

Thank you and bless you all xxx
